Alivio Search Partners is recruiting a Clinical Pharmacist for a confidential hospital employer in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Join an inpatient team where your clinical judgment helps patients receive safe and effective medication treatment. This full-time position follows a daytime schedule with rotating weekends. Collaborate with care teams, assess medication plans, and support the daily delivery of pharmacy services. The stated hourly range is $52 to $64, depending on experience. Applicable differentials include $2 per hour for second shift, $4.25 for third shift, and a $3 extra-shift premium. Higher compensation may be considered for relevant residency training and inpatient experience. Relocation assistance may be available case by case, subject to distance and eligibility requirements. Responsibilities

  • Assess medication orders for appropriate dosing, interactions, and patient-specific safety considerations.
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately while supporting pharmacy workflow.
  • Follow patients' medication response and recommend adjustments in collaboration with clinicians.
  • Provide clear medication guidance to physicians, nurses, and other care team members.
  • Support formulary use and clinical pharmacy initiatives.
  • Record clinical interventions and help identify and report medication safety concerns.

Qualifications

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program.
  • Current Florida pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Strong clinical assessment, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • At least one year of acute-care pharmacist experience is preferred; a completed PGY1 residency may substitute for experience.
  • Retail pharmacists may be considered with a completed PGY1 residency.
  • Availability for a full-time daytime schedule with rotating weekends.
